*Pharmasave in Kelowna is actively looking for a positive and enthusiastic Pharmacist to join our great pharmacy team. We are looking for both part-time, full-time, and weekend pharmacists*

The Pharmacist is responsible for providing safe, effective, and appropriate drug therapy and actively contributes to an environment of employee and customer engagement. The Pharmacist will play a key role in achieving departmental excellence in the areas of patient focused care, customer service and workflow efficiencies.

*Pharmacist Responsibilities:*

• Focus on clinical services (i.e., medication reviews, vaccinations, Minor Ailments)
• Initiate care plans, follow up and document

• Administer vaccines
• Determine appropriateness of drug therapy

• Monitor medication adherence
• Collect and document relevant patient, drug, and disease information

• Communicate well with other healthcare professionals
• Recommend OTC products and vitamins

• Answer clinical questions from patients

*Technical Skills:*

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to critically think and problem solve

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-directed and able to work independently

• Work well in a team environment

*Education and Experience:*

• Licensed to practice and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC
• Kroll experience is an asset

• Injection certification is a asset

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $65.00 per hour
