About our client

Our client is a leading global investment fund based in Abu Dhabi, with a diversified portfolio spanning a range of sectors and geographies. As the platform continues to grow, they are looking to add a senior financing professional to their central team, working across the fund and its portfolio companies on a broad range of capital raising and financing activities.

What the job involves

Lead financing transactions across corporate debt, syndicated facilities, bond issuances and M&A / acquisition financing

Advise portfolio companies on financing requirements, capital structure and broader corporate finance considerations

Lead negotiations with banks, lenders and advisors, acting as a senior point of contact across transactions

Support the management of the fund's broader capital structure, financing strategy and debt programme

Coordinate complex, large-scale transactions involving multiple internal teams, portfolio companies and external stakeholders

Manage and develop relationships across an extensive international network of banks, bond investors, rating agencies and advisors

Support cash-flow forecasting and translate this into broader capital raising and financing requirements

Act as a centre of expertise for financing across the platform, providing guidance and support to portfolio company management teams

Work closely with senior leadership in a lean and highly collaborative environment, with significant autonomy and responsibility

Who we are looking for

A senior financing professional with a strong background in banking, financing advisory or a sophisticated investment / corporate platform

Broad product experience across areas such as corporate and structured finance, acquisition finance, loan syndications and debt capital markets

Strong technical financing and corporate finance expertise, with a track record of leading and executing transactions rather than purely managing relationships

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the gravitas to build credibility with portfolio company management teams, banks and advisors

CFA or other relevant professional qualifications would be advantageous
