Shift work

Duties and Responsibilities

• Actively participate and sustain high level of Lean Management.
• Plans and leads the activities in the production workshop.
• Risk Management, Incident Investigation & Preventive measures.
• Assists supervisor in monitoring and resolving matters related to production operations.
• Manages work order priorities and manpower schedules according to requirements and timelines.
• Ensures department Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost output goals met.
• Provides training, motivation, guidance and communication to team members to develop competent, disciplined, safe and quality conscious team.
• Co-ordinates with maintenance and upgrade of machine tools to meet organizational objectives.
• Co-ordinates with internal stakeholders to optimize manufacturing process and queue times.
• Initiate improvement plans and cost savings.
• Responsible for record-keeping and for team member performance appraisals and work goal meetings.
• Leads with limited autonomy after establishment of overall direction with immediate supervisor.
• Establishes employee objectives and carry out disciplinary action and reward as required.
• Assist in driving the team to meet on time delivery.
• Resolve routine queries and problems independently.
• Review employee timeclock hours.

Requirements

• Diploma or NITEC in related field.
• 5 years of Production Supervisor experience in MNC environment
• Leadership experience is compulsory
• Experience in Lean manufacturing and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
• Good knowledge in workplace safety procedures
• Five to seven years of experience in Production or Manufacturing environment
• Strong PC skill in Microsoft office applications.
• Experience in lead/supervisory role is preferred
• SAP experience in preferred
