P McGovern & Son Building Contractors are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicle body panels, restoring vehicles to manufacturer standards, and ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair and replace damaged vehicle panels and body parts
• Realign vehicle frames and body structures using specialist equipment
• Remove dents, scratches, and other body damage
• Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding and filling
• Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards
• Work efficiently to meet repair deadlines
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and management

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Mechanic
• Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques
• Ability to use body repair tools and equipment safely
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good time management skills
• Relevant qualifications or certification (preferred but not essential)
• Full driving licence (preferred)
