As a Management Accountant in the healthcare industry, you'll play a key role in managing financial records, budgets, and reports to help the business make informed decisions. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth financial operation of the organisation and supporting its overall objectives Client Details An organisation operating in the healthcare sector. Description Prepare and manage monthly management accounts and financial reports. Monitor budgets and provide variance analysis to support decision-making. Assist with forecasting to ensure accurate financial planning. Oversee cost control processes to improve financial efficiency. Support the year-end audit process by providing required documentation and explanations. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data and compliance with regulations. Analyse financial performance and recommend improvements where necessary. Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures. Profile A successful Management Accountant should have: Professional accounting qualifications (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent. Proven experience in preparing management accounts and financial reporting. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel. Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes. Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. Knowledge of the healthcare industry is advantageous but not essential. Job Offer Competitive salary between £50,000 and £60,000, dependent on the level of experience. 25 days annual leave.
