Dairy Farm Assistant

We are currently looking for 2 dairy farm assistant to support daily dairy farm operations including milking, feeding, livestock care, and general farm maintenance to ensure efficient milk production and high animal welfare standards.

Key Duties:

• Milking cows and maintaining milking equipment
• Feeding livestock and monitoring animal health
• Assisting with calving and calf‑rearing
• Cleaning sheds, parlours, and farm areas
• Operating basic farm machinery (tractors, feeders, etc.)
• Reporting health issues, equipment faults, or hazards
• Following farm safety, hygiene, and biosecurity procedures

Skills & Requirements:

• Experience with livestock (preferably dairy cows)
• Ability to perform physical, outdoor work
• Basic animal welfare knowledge
• Reliability, good communication, and willingness to learn

Working Conditions:

• Early mornings, evenings, weekends, and rostered shifts
• Indoor/outdoor farm environment in varying weather

Remuneration is €36605.00 per year based on 39 hours work per week.
