About the Company

Mishraf Almadain Contracting Co. is a growing construction company based in Riyadh. We are looking for a dependable, hands-on IT professional to support employees and maintain reliable, secure IT operations across multiple company locations.

Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Support & Systems Administrator with at least 5 years of relevant experience in IT support, systems administration, network administration, or a similar role.

The role covers daily user support and administration of Windows systems, Windows Server, Active Directory, networks, VPN, ERP users, Avaya and Grandstream telephone systems, website/email hosting, domains, and Synology NAS backup systems.

Advanced experience in every area is not required. Training will be provided for the ERP system and other areas where needed. Strong IT fundamentals, troubleshooting skills, flexibility, and willingness to learn are essential.

Key Responsibilities

IT Support & Desktop Administration

  • Provide daily technical support to employees.
  • Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot Windows, business applications, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, internet, email, and printing issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates.
  • Maintain IT equipment, software, and license records.
  • Document recurring issues and solutions.
  • Coordinate with external IT suppliers when required.

Employee Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Prepare computers, phones, printers, and other equipment for new employees.
  • Create and configure Windows, domain, email, ERP, network, VPN, telephone, and application accounts.
  • Join computers to the company domain and install required software.
  • Assign access and permissions based on management approval.
  • Provide basic IT and cybersecurity guidance.
  • Disable accounts, remove access, collect equipment, and secure company data when employees leave.
  • Maintain records of equipment, accounts, extensions, and permissions.

Windows Server & Active Directory

  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server infrastructure.
  • Manage Domain Controllers and Active Directory.
  • Manage users, computers, Organizational Units, security groups, and administrative accounts.
  • Configure and maintain Group Policy.
  • Manage access to shared folders, files, printers, and other resources.
  • Configure and troubleshoot DNS and DHCP.
  • Monitor server health, performance, storage, event logs, and security alerts.
  • Apply Windows Server updates and security patches.
  • Maintain server/system-state backups and coordinate recovery tests.
  • Troubleshoot login, authentication, permissions, Group Policy, DNS, and domain connectivity issues.
  • Maintain documentation for AD, Group Policy, backups, and recovery procedures.

ERP Support

  • Provide first-line support for basic ERP user issues after training.
  • Assist with login, navigation, routine transactions, and standard reports.
  • Manage basic ERP accounts and permissions where authorized.
  • Help users follow correct ERP procedures.
  • Escalate advanced issues to the ERP provider and follow them through resolution.
  • Document common ERP issues and solutions.
  • Participate in ERP training.

Network Administration

  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN.
  • Manage routers, switches, access points, firewalls, IP addressing, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, and VPN.
  • Administer Ubiquiti UniFi equipment and management platform.
  • Configure secure remote-access VPN connections.
  • Monitor network availability, performance, capacity, and security across company locations.
  • Troubleshoot internet, Wi-Fi, VPN, routing, and connectivity issues.
  • Maintain network diagrams, equipment records, configurations, and backups.
  • Coordinate with ISPs and external network-support providers.

Telephone & VoIP Systems

  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Avaya and Grandstream telephone/VoIP systems.
  • Configure IP phones, extensions, users, voicemail, call groups, hunt groups, and basic call routing.
  • Set up and update employee extensions.
  • Troubleshoot phone, voicemail, call-quality, and connectivity issues.
  • Maintain telephone-system records, configurations, and backups.
  • Coordinate with telecom providers when required.

Website, Email & Domain Management

  • Provide basic technical support for the company website and Bluehost hosting.
  • Create and manage email accounts, aliases, and forwarding rules.
  • Troubleshoot email access, delivery, spam, and mailbox issues.
  • Manage domain registrations, renewals, ownership, and account access.
  • Configure DNS records, nameservers, subdomains, and SSL certificates.
  • Monitor hosting/domain renewals.
  • Maintain secure records of hosting, domain, and administrative accounts.
  • Coordinate with hosting providers, registrars, and external developers when required.

Synology NAS & Backup

  • Install, configure, and administer Synology NAS devices across company locations.
  • Manage NAS users, groups, shared folders, storage, and permissions.
  • Configure secure remote access.
  • Configure and monitor local, off-site, and site-to-site backups.
  • Verify backup completion and investigate failed or incomplete jobs.
  • Maintain backup retention and versioning policies.
  • Perform file-restoration and disaster-recovery tests.
  • Monitor NAS health, disks, storage, performance, and security alerts.
  • Keep Synology DSM and applications updated.
  • Maintain backup and recovery documentation.
  • Report backup failures, storage problems, security incidents, and data risks immediately.

IT Security & Documentation

  • Apply cybersecurity best practices across systems, networks, storage, and user accounts.
  • Manage user access according to job responsibilities and management approval.
  • Maintain antivirus, endpoint protection, and security updates.
  • Apply password and access-control policies.
  • Protect administrative accounts with strong passwords and MFA where supported.
  • Maintain records of systems, devices, licenses, warranties, accounts, and configurations.
  • Document IT procedures, network layouts, backup, and disaster-recovery processes.
  • Report security incidents and system/data risks to management.

Training & Development

The company will provide training in the ERP system and other areas where required. The selected candidate is expected to:

  • Learn unfamiliar systems and technologies.
  • Participate actively in training.
  • Learn independently when appropriate.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and follow issues through resolution.
  • Keep technical knowledge up to date.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT Support, Systems Administration, Network Administration, or similar.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or related field. Strong practical experience may substitute for formal education.
  • Strong foundation in IT support, systems, networking, and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience in several areas covered by the role.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and business applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new systems.
  • Good communication, organization, documentation, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to support users with different technical levels.
  • Responsible approach to confidentiality, cybersecurity, and company data.
  • Ability to travel between company locations when required.
