Delivery Attendant

Job Description:

• Retrieve soiled laundry from customers and deliver cleaned laundry to hotel, restaurant, or commercial clients.

• Provide excellent customer service, handling questions, requests, or issues with professionalism and a friendly attitude.

• Ensure proper care of laundry during transport, preventing damage or loss, and making sure that all items are accounted for.

• Maintain accurate logs of pickups and deliveries, including customer signatures, laundry counts, and any special instructions.

• Follow assigned delivery routes efficiently and ensure all deliveries are made within the scheduled time frames.

• Adhere to hygiene standards when handling laundry, ensuring clean laundry is kept separate from soiled laundry.

• Report any issues encountered during deliveries, such as incomplete or incorrect orders, to the laundry facility and work to resolve them quickly.

• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and well-maintained, reporting any issues or malfunctions to management.

Requirements:

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Basic organizational skills for handling orders, paperwork, and delivery schedules.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy laundry bags and stand or drive for extended periods.

• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
