Discover why our employees choose us as their accelerator for career growth! We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to integrate a hybrid project in Lisbon (Venda do Pinheiro).

Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field;
• Proven experience as an AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, or similar role;
• Strong knowledge of LLMs, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, including algorithms and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and LangChain;
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java, as well as data analysis and visualization libraries like -NumPy, pandas, and Matplotlib;
• Experience with big data processing and distributed computing frameworks such as Hadoop or Spark (nice to have);
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their AI services;
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions;
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Proactive and self-driven mindset, with a passion for learning and staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and opportunities where AI solutions can add value;
• Design and develop proof-of-concepts (PoCs) using Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques;
• Evaluate and validate the performance of PoCs, considering metrics such as accuracy, scalability, and computational efficiency;
• Gather stakeholder feedback and iterate on PoCs to maximize impact and alignment with business challenges;
• Analyze PoC outcomes and identify solutions with the highest business potential;
• Translate successful PoCs into minimum viable products (MVPs), working closely with engineering and data teams;
• Optimize and fine-tune AI models and algorithms to meet performance and business requirements;
• Ensure thorough testing and validation of MVPs in real-world scenarios, guaranteeing reliability and usability;
• Collaborate with product teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing systems or develop new AI-driven applications;
• Stay up to date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in AI engineering, applying this knowledge to improve solutions;
• Document processes, methodologies, and results, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders;
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
