Trade Marketing Executive

Our client is a product sourcing company and supplier to retail who due to continued growth now have an excellent opportunity for a Trade Marketing Executive to join their growing marketing team in Wigan.

Job Purpose:

You will support a portfolio of well-known global consumer brands, working closely with internal and external Trade Marketing stakeholders, the Sales team, Brand Managers and the Creative team to deliver trade marketing activity across a broad portfolio of UK retail partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Be a primary point of contact within the company and for external partners on trade marketing initiatives across several well-known global consumer brands. Plan, execute and report on trade marketing activities for a variety of UK retailers, ensuring timely and effective delivery. Serve as a brand ambassador, representing the business and its brands professionally in retailer meetings and other relevant forums, building positive relationships with retailers and industry stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have:

Educated to Degree level (essential) ideally in Marketing or similar Must have experience within Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Brand Marketing or Account Management, ideally within FMCG or consumer goods Hold a valid UK driving licence with own transport and is confident in travelling independently to various locations Strong project management and organisational skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Commercially aware with strong attention to detail Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Experience working with UK retailers or consumer brands would be advantageous
