Working as part of a collaborative technology team, you'll take ownership of complex data engineering projects, helping to migrate, optimise and modernise critical data platforms while supporting the business's long-term growth plans. This is a highly visible role offering genuine influence, exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to mentor and develop less experienced team members. This is a full-time, permanent position based predominantly onsite in Newcastle, working closely with colleagues across technology and the wider business. Key Responsibilities Design, build and optimise data pipelines and ETL processes. Lead complex data migration and integration initiatives across multiple platforms. Cleanse, transform and improve data quality within enterprise systems. Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions. Support cloud-based data engineering initiatives within an AWS environment. Contribute to the development of future AI and automation capabilities by ensuring data is accurate, accessible and fit for purpose. Help establish best practice around data governance, architecture and engineering standards. Mentor junior team members and support the ongoing development of internal capability.
