Business Studies Teacher

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Business Studies teacher to join our dynamic secondary school team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early career teacher or a teacher with up to 2 years of experience who is passionate about inspiring students and developing a strong understanding of business concepts in a real-world context.

The successful candidate will teach Business Studies at Key Stage 4 and/or Key Stage 5 and contribute to the wider life of the school.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons that meet curriculum requirements.

Foster a stimulating learning environment that promotes achievement and progress.

Assess, record, and report on student performance effectively.

Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners.

Support students in developing critical thinking, entrepreneurial, and analytical skills.

Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.

Person Specification

Essential Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Commerce, Education, or a related field.

Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., QTS, or equivalent).

Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies.

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

Experience

Early career teachers are encouraged to apply.

Candidates with up to 2 years of teaching experience are welcome.

Experience teaching a British curriculum is desirable but not essential.
