Mathematics Teacher

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons according to the school curriculum. Explain mathematical concepts clearly using practical examples and teaching aids. Prepare assignments, classwork, tests, and examination questions. Assess students’ understanding and track academic progress. Identify learning difficulties and provide appropriate support. Encourage problem-solving, logical reasoning, and critical thinking. Maintain effective classroom discipline and a positive learning environment. Participate in school activities and academic programmes.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree/HND in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field. Previous teaching experience is an advantage. Strong knowledge of secondary-school Mathematics. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and classroom-management skills. Ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts. TRCN certification is an advantage.
