food and beverage server

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take customer orders for beverages and accurately enter them into the system
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options
• Ensure that all beverages are prepared according to established recipes and quality standards
• Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the beverage station and work area
• Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly

-This position involves weekdays. Weekday daytime availability an asset.

Skills:

• Previous experience in the hospitality industry or food service is preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and beverage recipes
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy trays or kegs if required

Pay: $17.60 per hour

• St. Thomas, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• serving: 2 years (preferred)
