Software Engineering Specialist (m/f)

As a Software Engineering Specialist with a focus on high-performance software development, you'll play a key role in crafting exceptional user interfaces and ensuring seamless user experiences across our digital platforms.

What you'll be doing:

• Translate user needs into technical requirements
• Design, develop, and test software using various programming languages (Julia,

Python, Bash)

• Write clean, maintainable, and documented code
• Optimize high-performance applications for maximum speed, scalability, and

usability

• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards and contribute to a

collaborative coding culture

• Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues, provide innovative solutions
• Stay up-to-date on the latest software development trends and technologies

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience as a software developer or equivalent role
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong proficiency in classical coding and debugging (not vibe coding)
• Knowledge of APIs and how to integrate them into applications
• Experience with agile software development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in English. Any other

languages are considered strong assets.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Founded knowledge of reproducibility tech stack (git, containers, …)
