Cornell Dental Centre is a long-established family dental practice in Markham with more than 27 years of service to our community and a loyal, established patient base.
We are looking for a *professional, enthusiastic and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist* to join our team on a *full-time, permanent basis*.

What We Are Looking For
The successful candidate should:
- Be currently registered and in good standing with the *College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)*.
- Have *excellent spoken and written English communication skills*, with the ability to clearly explain oral health conditions, preventive care and recommended dental and hygiene treatment to patients.
- Have strong interpersonal and patient-relations skills and be comfortable working with patients of all ages.
- Be proficient with *digital intraoral radiography, intraoral cameras and digital intraoral scanners*.
- Be comfortable providing appropriate preventive and adjunctive hygiene services, including:
- Pit and fissure sealants
- Comprehensive periodontal assessment
- Soft-tissue and periodontal management
- Patient-specific oral hygiene instruction
- Sports mouthguards
- Professional teeth-whitening procedures
- Preventive and periodontal maintenance programs
- Possess a strong understanding of periodontal disease, risk assessment, treatment planning and appropriate recall intervals.
- Be able to educate patients regarding their oral health and clearly communicate the benefits and importance of recommended preventive, restorative and periodontal treatment.
- Have a good working knowledge of *Tracker dental practice-management software*, including charting, clinical documentation, treatment planning, scheduling functions and the effective use of clinical note templates.
- Maintain accurate, thorough and timely clinical records.
- Hold current *CPR/BLS and First Aid certification*.
- Have excellent knowledge of and consistently follow current *IPAC infection-prevention and control standards*, including instrument sterilization, reprocessing, operatory disinfection, biological monitoring, documentation and proper handling of contaminated instruments.
- Be dependable, organized, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a close-knit dental team.
