As a Backend Engineer, you’ll join one of our Client's core cross-functional teams to build and scale their technology platform, ensuring security, reliability, and continuous innovation.

Daily tasks

• Develop clean, elegant, and reusable code that is well-tested and easy to maintain.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to shape the direction of Boxed’s engineering, keeping customer interests at the core.
• Work across the backend chapter to uphold standards, best practices, and promote innovation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues collaboratively.
• Mentor junior engineers and act as a subject matter expert.

Requirements

Solid practical and theoretical knowledge of Go software development.

Strong experience with microservices architecture .

Understanding of Kubernetes / Docker .

Excellent knowledge of AWS (deployment and configuration).

Experience working on highly secure applications .

Proven success delivering in an agile environment .

Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Understanding of how to translate business objectives into data-driven insights .
