As Cloud Security Assessment Specialist , you will be responsible for performing security assessments across multiple cloud platforms , ensuring compliance with strict security controls before services move into production. You will provide expert security guidance, collaborate with cross-functional IT teams, and influence strategic improvements to strengthen cloud security posture.

Daily tasks

• Conduct detailed Cloud Security Assessments for services prior to production deployment.
• Provide cloud security consultancy and support to internal teams.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and process standardization within security assessment workflows.
• Ensure proper implementation of security controls and compliance with global security frameworks.
• Engage effectively with business and technical stakeholders for secure and efficient service delivery.
• Keep up-to-date with industry cloud security trends, advocating best practices.

Requirements

Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS) .

Familiarity with at least one additional platform (Microsoft Azure or Alibaba Cloud).

Sound understanding of cloud security controls, risks, and compliance frameworks .

Excellent communication skills for explaining complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Ability to produce clear reports and technical documentation .

Strong analytical mindset, proactive attitude, and team player approach.

Nice to have:

Experience conducting cybersecurity assessments or security reviews .

Knowledge of Kubernetes , CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible), automation, and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Experience with software development tools and technologies .

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or Cloud Security certifications (e.g., CCSK).
