Responsible for the co-ordination of all recording and verification in the balance sheet account reconciliation process and fixed asset control Prepare and maintain up-to-date accounts using the prescribed accounting software Prepare monthly general ledger account balance reconciliations including reconciliation of both local currency and Forex bank accounts Ensure all general ledger accounts are properly headed and classified in the appropriate fund's balance sheet Reconcile the movement of all gaming proceeds Keep abreast of and advise management on changes in local accounting regulations Prepare and maintain payroll and submit timely PAYE, and other mandatory payments Prepare and maintain VAT account and submit monthly returns which are in agreement with the up-to-date general ledger and records (if applicable) Prepare all accounts in time for a quarterly audit Code and process fixed assets and related fixed asset journal entries in accordance with accounting policies Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual fixed asset reports including general ledger reconciliations, roll-forward schedules, additions, disposals and depreciation expense Assess all accounting documents and ensure that they are correct for the purpose of posting to the account Maintain all accounting source documents in an orderly fashion Keep the Manager in charge of Administration informed of all pertinent information regarding financial reports Effectively prioritise workload in order to accomplish most urgent tasks first

Qualification Required & Experience

Must be a qualified accountant from a recognized institution with a minimum of 2 years working experience Must be able to multitask and organise
