Senior Technician

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technician to join our team in Kuwait, specializing in the maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial kitchen equipment. This role requires a highly skilled individual who can ensure optimal functionality of all kitchen systems, support junior technicians, and contribute to excellent customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of commercial kitchen appliances and equipment.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
• Install and commission new commercial kitchen equipment following manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
• Train and mentor junior technicians to enhance team skills and performance.
• Collaborate with customers to understand equipment issues and provide professional service and advice.
• Maintain accurate service records and report on work completed and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all service activities.
• Proven experience as a technician in the commercial kitchen equipment industry or equivalent technical field.
• Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen appliances including ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and ventilation systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical and detail-oriented approach to diagnostics and repair.
• Ability to work independently and lead small teams effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients professionally.
• Flexibility to handle emergency call-outs and work extended hours when needed.
• Relevant technical certifications or diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering is preferred.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
