Outbound tourism specialist

The Outbound Tourism Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza. The specialist will design and customize outbound tour packages, prepare detailed itineraries, and coordinate bookings for flights, hotels, transfers, and activities. Daily responsibilities include advising clients on destinations, visa requirements, and travel insurance, handling inquiries via phone, email, and in person, and providing clear, accurate information throughout the booking process. The role involves maintaining relationships with international suppliers, negotiating rates, and monitoring availability and promotions to optimize offers. The specialist will also process reservations, manage changes and cancelations, follow up with clients before and after travel, and support sales and marketing campaigns to promote outbound packages.

Candidates should possess strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and partners.

Candidates should possess Travel & Tourism knowledge, including international destinations, travel regulations, and itinerary planning.

Candidates should possess sales and marketing skills to convert inquiries into bookings and support promotional activities.

Candidates should possess organizational and time management skills to handle multiple bookings, deadlines, and client requests.

Candidates should possess proficiency in common office and reservation tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, and booking platforms); experience with GDS or travel systems is an advantage.

Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an asset.

Previous experience in outbound travel, tour operations, or a related tourism role is preferred.

A diploma or degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is beneficial.
