Your Role

As a Health Attendant, you will provide essential support to ensure the smooth operation of inpatient wards while maintaining high standards of patient care, cleanliness, and infection control.

Your responsibilities include:

🍽 Patient Meal Support

• Prepare beverages and meal set-ups
• Serve meals and replenish patients' water jugs
• Clear meal trays and food trolleys
• Rinse used utensils and crockery for central washing

📦 Ward Logistics & Supplies

• Replenish ward consumables and clinical supplies
• Manage linen inventory and ward stock levels

🧹 Housekeeping & Cleaning Support

• Perform ward and pantry cleaning
• Carry out bed discharge cleaning
• Maintain cleanliness of patient equipment and common areas
• Support infection prevention and hygiene standards

❤️ Patient & Family Support

• Assist patients and their families with non-clinical requests
• Support nursing staff with patient observation when required
• Assist patients with mobility under nursing supervision

💊 Pharmacy & General Support

• Collect and deliver medications from the hospital pharmacy
• Perform other operational support duties within your training and competency

• Physically fit and able to perform active duties throughout the shift
• Caring, compassionate and enjoys helping people
• Responsible, punctual and dependable
• Able to follow hospital safety, hygiene and infection control procedures
• Comfortable using a smartphone or basic electronic devices for work updates
• Able to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
