Cleaning Operation Manager

Develop daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules for all areas: lecture halls, labs, offices, restrooms, corridors, external areas.

Supervise cleaning team of 30-100 cleaners and team leaders on shifts: Morning, Evening, Night.

Conduct daily site inspections and quality audits using checklists.

Recruit, train, and evaluate cleaning staff and supervisors.

Manage attendance, shifts, leaves, and performance of cleaning team.

Ensure PPE, uniforms, and safety compliance for all cleaners.

Manage inventory of cleaning chemicals, consumables, and equipment.

Ensure proper storage, usage, and safety of chemicals per MSDS.

Coordinate preventive maintenance for cleaning machines: scrubbers, vacuums .

Handle complaints from university admin and resolve within 24 hours.

Implement infection control and hygiene protocols, especially for toilets and food areas.

Prepare daily attendance, monthly consumption, and cost reports.

Ensure compliance with HSE, waste management, and university standards.

Optimize cleaning methods to reduce cost and improve productivity.

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree. Certification in Housekeeping / FM is a plus.

6-10 years experience in cleaning operations.2+ years as a Supervisor or Manager in large sites: Universities, Hospitals, Malls, or Construction Camps.

Experience managing large teams 50+ is required.
