Accounting, Treasury and Credit Management Officer

Job Description:
Accounting
- Assist in month/ year-end closing (cut-off, accruals, intercompany balances, statutory reporting)
- Assist with internal and external audits and support the wider team with accounting advice/support
Treasury
- Forecast cash flow and plan liquidity
- Work with the Group Finance Team, Financial Controller and shipyard director on debt facilities and bank relationships
- Manage FX and interest rate risk
- Keep treasury controls strong and improve its processes and reporting
- Advise on transactions and strategic initiatives
Credit and collections
- Assess customer credit applications and set credit limits
- Keep the customer ledger accurate and track AR
- Send statements of account and reminder letters, chase overdue payments, and log promised payments and disputes
- Give the commercial team a weekly due list and a quarterly credit report (overdue accounts, key issues)
- Meet regularly with Commercial Team on collections, customer blocking, bad debt, and disputes.
- Recommend collection agencies, legal action, or write-offs for uncollectible debts
Requirements:
- About 3 years of experience (fresh graduates may apply)
- Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Able to speak and write in Bahasa Indonesian is a plus.
- Microsoft office, ERP system.
- Willing to make regular day trips to the Batam shipyard, around 1-2 times a month
