Senior Import & Export Operator / Specialist / Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Import & Export Specialist with strong experience in international trade, logistics, and end-to-end import and export operations.

The ideal candidate will have a high level of seniority, autonomy, and strong organizational skills , with previous experience working for Freight Forwarders and coordinating international logistics operations across different transportation modes.

Requirements

• Technical degree or Bachelor's degree in International Trade, International Business, Logistics, Business Administration , or related fields.
• 4–5 years of experience in logistics, international trade, and import/export operations.
• Previous experience working for Freight Forwarders .
• Experience managing import and export operations , including international cargo and different types of containers.
• Experience coordinating and following up on operations with shipping lines, maritime agents, airlines, carriers, and other stakeholders within the international logistics chain .
• Knowledge and experience in ocean, air, and ground transportation .
• Experience with intermodal operations and/or rail transportation is a plus.
• Experience with 4PL operations and managing multiple transportation modes is desirable.
• Strong experience in end-to-end operational follow-up , ensuring proper documentation, procedures, and compliance with established deadlines.
• Experience in the Pharmaceutical (Pharma) industry is highly desirable.
• B2 level of English or higher , with the ability to communicate effectively in international environments.

Location: Bogotá Contract: Permanent / Indefinite-term Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite and 2 days from home Salary: To be agreed upon based on experience and profile
