Senior Engineer

Job Summary The Mechanical Engineer (EDM) is responsible for the design, development, testing, and validation of mechanical systems for Electrical Discharge Machines (EDM). This role supports Makino Asia's R&D objectives by delivering reliable, high-performance, and safe mechanical designs that meet product quality, regulatory, and customer requirements. Responsibilities Design mechanical components and systems for Electrical Discharge Machines to meet performance and safety standards Develop and execute testing protocols to validate mechanical designs against quality and regulatory requirements Analyze test data to identify design improvements and ensure product reliability Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with electrical and software systems Document design processes, test results, and compliance evidence to support regulatory submissions and customer requirements Apply problem-solving skills to troubleshoot mechanical issues during prototype development and production stages Ensure mechanical designs comply with applicable safety and industry regulations
