Operate crawler cranes, mobile cranes, and other assigned lifting equipment safely and efficiently at construction sites and designated work locations.
Perform lifting, hoisting, positioning, and moving of heavy machinery, equipment, and materials.
Conduct daily pre-operation inspections to ensure cranes are in safe working condition.
Ensure all lifting operations comply with workplace safety regulations and approved lifting plans.
Work closely with lifting supervisors, riggers, and signalmen to carry out safe lifting operations.
Monitor crane load capacity, ground conditions, and lifting restrictions.
Report equipment defects, mechanical issues, and safety hazards promptly.
Maintain proper records of daily operations, inspections, and equipment maintenance.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
Possess a valid MOM-recognised crane operator licence appropriate to the crane type being operated, where required.
Relevant experience operating crawler cranes or mobile cranes is preferred.
Good knowledge of crane operations, lifting procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
Able to understand and follow lifting plans, load charts, and safety instructions.
Physically fit and able to work in outdoor construction environments.
Willing to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required.
Must be able to travel to any site as assigned.
Responsible, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Able to communicate effectively with lifting supervisors, riggers, and signalmen.
Candidates with relevant lifting operation experience will have an advantage.
