Finance & HR Officer
Are you a dynamic professional ready to take on a pivotal dual role that blends financial acumen with human resources expertise? M&A Apparel Group — home to The Blanks, The Blanks Her, and Supplied, our manufacturing and sourcing arm — is seeking an exceptional Finance & HR Officer to join our team on-site in Cairo, Egypt. This is an incredible opportunity to become a cornerstone of our organization, ensuring both our financial health and the strength of the team driving our next phase of growth. Overview: As our Finance & HR Officer, you will be instrumental in managing the financial operations and human capital initiatives that power our growth across a vertically integrated apparel group — from design and manufacturing to retail and direct-to-consumer distribution. You'll navigate the intersection of balancing budgets and building the people function that turns ambitious targets into reality, playing a critical role in our day-to-day operations and strategic growth. Above all, this role exists to help us build the perfect team: the right people, in the right roles, at the right time, to lead The Blanks, The Blanks Her, and Supplied through their growth targets. Key Responsibilities: Financial Stewardship: Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management across the group's brands.
Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate financial statements, budget reports, and forecasts to inform strategic decision-making as the company scales.
Payroll Management: Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll, benefits administration, and tax compliance.
Talent & Team Building: Own the full recruitment cycle — sourcing, interviewing, and hiring the people who will help M&A Apparel Group hit its growth targets. Building the strongest possible team is the most important outcome of this role.
HR Operations: Manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding and performance management to offboarding, ensuring every hire is set up to contribute quickly.
Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee inquiries, fostering a positive and productive work environment across our showrooms, offices, and production teams.
Policy & Compliance: Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to Egyptian labor law and financial regulations.
Administrative Support: Provide essential administrative support across departments to keep a fast-moving, multi-brand organization running smoothly.
Skills & Technologies: You'll draw on expertise in Accounting, Finance, and Human Resources daily. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is essential, alongside experience with ERP or accounting systems (Shopify-adjacent retail/e-commerce exposure is a plus given our DTC operations). Strong analytical and communication skills are key — you'll need to read the numbers and read the room in the same day. Growth Opportunities: This role offers significant potential for professional development in both financial management and HR/talent strategy. As M&A Apparel Group expands retail distribution and production infrastructure, you'll gain broad exposure across the business, with pathways to specialize or lead in either finance or HR as your career — and the company — grows. Team & Culture: Join a lean, fast-moving team in our Cairo office where every hire matters. We're building a company where the right people, not just headcount, are the difference between hitting our targets and missing them — and you'll be the one finding, evaluating, and bringing that talent on board. Impact: Your work will directly shape both our financial stability and the team behind our growth. Every great hire you make and every accurate report you deliver moves M&A Apparel Group closer to its targets — you're not just supporting the business, you're building the engine that grows it.
