Lash Technician / Part time

Lash Technician We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Lash Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for providing professional lash services while ensuring every client enjoys a comfortable, personalised and high-quality salon experience. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong interest in the beauty industry, takes pride in their workmanship, and enjoys helping clients look and feel their best. Training can be provided for suitable candidates who are eager to learn and grow with the team. Job Responsibilities Lash Services Provide professional lash services including lash extensions, lash lifts and other related treatments. Recommend suitable lash styles, lengths and designs based on each client’s eye shape, preference and lifestyle. Perform lash application and removal safely, carefully and according to salon standards. Ensure consistent quality and attention to detail for every treatment. Keep up to date with the latest lash techniques, styles and beauty trends.

Client Consultation & Service Conduct consultations with clients before treatments to understand their needs and desired results.

Explain treatment procedures, aftercare instructions and maintenance requirements clearly.

Provide friendly, attentive and professional customer service throughout the client’s visit.

Build good relationships with clients and encourage repeat appointments.

Handle client feedback professionally and escalate any concerns to management when necessary.

Sales & Customer Retention Recommend suitable lash services, treatment packages and aftercare products based on clients’ needs.

Support salon sales targets through service recommendations and customer engagement.

Encourage clients to schedule their next appointment before leaving the salon.

Assist with customer retention and promotional initiatives when required.

Hygiene & Salon Operations Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic workstation at all times.

Clean and sanitise tools, equipment and treatment areas before and after each client.

Follow all salon hygiene, safety and service procedures.

Monitor lash supplies and inform the supervisor when stocks need to be replenished.

Assist with general salon operations and upkeep when required.

Team & General Duties Work closely with other technicians, reception and management to ensure smooth daily operations.

Participate in training sessions to improve technical skills and service standards.

Support salon promotions, events, photoshoots and content creation when required.

Perform other beauty or salon-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements Relevant certification or training in eyelash extensions, lash lift or beauty services is preferred.

Candidates with Nitec / Higher Nitec, Diploma or other relevant beauty qualifications are welcome to apply.

Fresh graduates and candidates with little or no experience are welcome; training can be provided for suitable candidates .

Passionate about the beauty industry with a strong interest in lash treatments and trends.

Good attention to detail with steady hands and a strong sense of aesthetics.

Friendly, patient and service-oriented with good interpersonal skills.

Able to communicate well with clients and understand their preferences and needs.

Able to communicate in Mandarin with Chinese-speaking clients; basic Mandarin proficiency is required.

Responsible, punctual and committed to maintaining high service and hygiene standards.

Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Willing to learn new techniques and continuously improve technical skills.

Able to work retail hours, weekends and public holidays when required.

Prior experience in lash extensions, lash lifts or beauty services will be an advantage.
