Senior Associate, Finance & Operations, Value Creation Team
Overview
LLR Partners is seeking a Senior Associate, Finance & Operations professional to join its Value Creation Team (VCT). The VCT partners with LLR investment teams and portfolio company management teams to accelerate growth and improve performance across the portfolio.
Reporting to the Director, Finance & Operations, the Senior Associate will support Finance & Operations value creation initiatives across LLR’s portfolio companies. The primary focus of the role is helping CFOs and management teams identify and execute opportunities to improve financial and operational performance through analysis, recommendation development, and implementation support.
The Senior Associate will also support strategic projects across the portfolio, including business transformation initiatives, M&A integrations, and other cross-functional efforts that require strong analytical and project management capabilities.
This is an opportunity to work directly with portfolio company leadership teams and play a meaningful role in driving value creation across a diverse portfolio of growing software and technology-enabled businesses.
Accountabilities
Finance & Operations Value Creation
Support Finance & Operations value creation initiatives across the portfolio
Partner with CFOs and management teams to identify opportunities to improve growth, profitability, cash flow, and operational performance
Develop financial analyses, business cases, reporting frameworks, and actionable recommendations
Drive execution of operational improvement and transformation initiatives
Support Projects and M&A Integration
Support strategic initiatives and special projects across portfolio companies
Assist with M&A integration planning and execution
Lead project management activities, including workplan development, milestone tracking, and stakeholder coordination
Bring structure and execution discipline to complex, cross-functional initiatives
Best Practices and Playbooks
Develop and share Finance & Operations playbooks, tools, and best practices across the portfolio
Support internal portfolio reviews and other value creation initiatives
Help identify emerging technologies and AI-enabled capabilities that can improve business performance and decision-making
Skills and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
MBA or other relevant advanced degree is a plus
4-8 years of relevant experience in consulting, finance, transaction services, strategic finance, business operations, performance improvement, private equity value creation, or related fields
Strong financial analysis, problem-solving, and project management skills
Ability to synthesize data, develop actionable recommendations, and drive execution
Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
Ability to work effectively with executives and management teams
Willingness to travel to portfolio companies (up to 25-50% of time)
