Motor Vehicle Technician

Employer: Edward Conway Motors Ltd. Location: Castlebar, Co. Mayo Position: Permanent, Full-Time (39 hours per week) Salary: €36,605 per annum

Conway Motors is seeking an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join our workshop team.

Main Duties

• Service, maintain and repair motor vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
• Carry out vehicle servicing, inspections and repairs.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults.
• Complete work in accordance with manufacturer specifications and health and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or Automotive Technology.
• Previous experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician or Motor Mechanic.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full driving licence desirable.
