Early Childhood Educator (English, L2) – Bishan

We are a preschool in Bishan seeking a dedicated and qualified Early Childhood Educator (English, L2) to join our team.

This role is suited for an educator who is passionate about working with young children and is looking to be part of a professional, collaborative and supportive preschool environment.

The successful candidate will play an important role in creating meaningful learning experiences, supporting children’s holistic development, and building positive relationships with families and fellow educators.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences in accordance with the centre’s curriculum and educational philosophy
• Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
• Support children’s holistic development through purposeful play, inquiry and exploration
• Observe, assess and document children’s learning and developmental progress
• Build warm and positive relationships with children
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding their child’s progress and well-being
• Work closely with fellow educators and centre leaders
• Participate in school events, learning journeys and centre activities
• Maintain high standards of classroom organisation, safety, hygiene and care
• Support the centre in meeting relevant regulatory and operational requirements

Requirements

• ECDA-certified L2 English Teacher / Educator
• Relevant Early Childhood qualification recognised by ECDA
• Strong command of spoken and written English
• Genuine passion for early childhood education
• Warm, patient and nurturing disposition
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Responsible, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Commitment to professional growth and long-term development within the early childhood sector
