Software Automation Tester

Key Responsibilities

???? 1. Automation Testing

• Design and develop automated test scripts
• Build and maintain test automation frameworks
• Execute automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze test results and generate reports

???? 2. Manual Testing

• Analyze system requirements (BRD / SRS)
• Design and write Test Cases & Test Scenarios
• Perform manual testing (Functional / Regression / UAT Support)
• Log, track, and manage bugs

???? 3. Technical Documentation

• Create and maintain Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Reports and User Guides (if needed)
• Document APIs in collaboration with the development team
• Maintain clear documentation for testing and delivery processes

???? 4. Delivery & Handover Support

• Ensure system readiness before delivery
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with clients
• Prepare final quality reports
• Validate acceptance criteria are fully met

???? 5. Team Collaboration

• Work closely with: Developers, Business Analysts and Project Managers
• Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Standups and Retrospectives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Systems / or related field
• +5 years of experience
• Experience with automation tools (Selenium / Cypress / Playwright
• Proficiency in programming languages ( JavaScript / Python / Java / Php
• Solid understanding of REST APIs (Postman / Swagger) Databases (SQL)
• Experience with test management tools Jira / TestRail or similar, Testing Knowledge
• Strong understanding of Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Ability to write professional and structured test cases
• Experience with BRD / SRS, Test documentation
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts
• Experience working on ERP systems
