Cloud & Infrastructure Consultant

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise private cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions.
• Deploy and manage Windows Server environments, IIS web farms, application hosting platforms, and enterprise middleware solutions.
• Design and implement highly available web application architectures.
• Install, configure, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server environments including backup, clustering, performance tuning, and high availability.
• Administer and support enterprise web platforms and CMS solutions such as SharePoint, Sitecore, and OutSystems.
• Implement virtualization and private cloud technologies using VMware, Hyper-V, or similar platforms.
• Work with customers and internal stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements and propose suitable infrastructure and application hosting solutions.
• Design secure networking, storage, and server infrastructure for enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture, disaster recovery, operational procedures, and deployment standards.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, web applications, database, and integration issues across enterprise environments.
• Support hybrid integration scenarios between on-premises infrastructure and public cloud services when required.
• Ensure compliance with security, patching, backup, monitoring, and operational best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure, private cloud, or application hosting environments.
• Strong experience with:
• Windows Server administration
• IIS administration and troubleshooting
• Microsoft SQL Server administration and performance tuning
• Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and Windows Infrastructure Services
• Experience with enterprise CMS and application platforms such as:
• SharePoint
• Sitecore
• OutSystems
• Experience implementing and supporting high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Good understanding of networking concepts, including load balancing, firewalls, SSL certificates, reverse proxy, and web security.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring, backup, and patch management tools.
• Experience integrating on-premises environments with Microsoft Azure or Microsoft 365 is a plus.
• Scripting and automation experience using PowerShell is preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and customer-facing communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• SharePoint administration or implementation experience.
• Sitecore infrastructure deployment and administration.
• OutSystems platform administration and deployment.
• Experience managing enterprise web hosting environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is considered a plus.
• Microsoft certifications or VMware certifications are preferred.
