Position Overview

The Department of Economics at the Adnan Kassar School of Business (AKSOB) at the Lebanese American University (LAU) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in economics, effective Fall 2027 on the Byblos campus.

Qualifications and Expectations

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in economics. The successful candidates shall be committed to excellence in teaching at both graduate and undergraduate levels. In addition, candidates should demonstrate strong potential for producing high-quality research and maintaining an active research agenda. The candidates are expected to provide services to the university.

The Department of Economics offers a B.Sc. in economics and an M.A. in applied economics.
