Senior Manager, Contracts

Job Roles

• Oversee and manage contractual and commercial matters for structural steel projects from tender stage to project completion.
• Lead contract negotiations with clients, consultants, main contractors and subcontractors.
• Review and manage contracts, variations, claims, extensions of time and final accounts.
• Monitor contractual risks, project costs and commercial performance.
• Provide advice to management on contractual, commercial and risk-related matters.
• Supervise and guide the Contracts team in handling project-related matters.
• Manage contractual disputes and resolve issues with project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, project requirements and company policies.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, Contract Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in contracts and commercial management within the construction or structural steel industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, variation orders, claims, EOT and final accounts.
• Proven experience in contract negotiation and commercial management.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams.
• Experience in supervising or managing a Contracts team will be an advantage.
