Trade Finance Specialist- Guarantee Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Trade Finance Specialist to join our banking client in Singapore.

The role will focus on end-to-end Trade Finance Operations, with particular emphasis on Bank Guarantees, alongside Letters of Credit and Documentary Collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage end-to-end Trade Finance transactions
• Review, vet and process direct & indirect guarantees, including amendments and related documentation
• Monitor outstanding guarantees, fees and commissions
• Review and authorise Trade Finance documentation within delegated authority levels
• Perform transaction monitoring, reconciliations and operational controls
• Partner with Relationship Managers, Trade Finance Sales and Trade Services teams
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance and operational risk requirements

What We’re Looking For

• 2–10 years' relevant Trade Finance / Banking Operations experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 4–10 years with a relevant Diploma
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Bank Guarantees, Letters of Credit and Documentary Collections
• Familiarity with UCP 600, ISBP, URDG and URC 522
• Experience in guarantee issuance, amendments, claims, monitoring and fee collection is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of Trade Finance controls, compliance and operational risk
• Interest or exposure to AI, automation and digital productivity tools will be an advantage
