Junior System Engineer at Corporate IT&IS

Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure either on-premises or cloud.

Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools.

Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.

Planning, Design and Development an Infrastructure either on- premises or cloud.

Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes

Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies

Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks

Participate in the design of information and operational support systems

Provide 2nd level support

Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

Collaborate with developer team, product owner using agile project management framework.

Maintain server infrastructure on Data centre.

Knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., DNS, TCP/IP, and

firewalls)

Ability to deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available,

and fault-tolerant systems

Proven working experience in installing, configuring and

troubleshooting UNIX /Linux based environments.

Experience with virtualization (VMware, Proxmox) and

containerization

Experience with monitoring systems

Experience with DNS Server, Mail Server.

Experience with Backup Solution (VEEAM)

Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)

Familiar with Azure and AWS technologies.

Familiar with Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix

Familiar with Webserver Engine (Apache,Nginx).

Experience with Data centre Environment is a plus.
