Hotel Runner

Responsibilities: Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen or service area to guests and designated locations.

Assist waiters and other hotel staff with timely delivery of guest orders.

Collect and return used plates, trays, and service equipment to the appropriate areas.

Assist with setting up and clearing tables in restaurants, lounges, and event areas.

Respond promptly to guest requests and deliver requested items to guest rooms or other hotel areas.

Assist with transporting luggage, supplies, documents, and other items when required.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, corridors, and assigned workspaces.

Support housekeeping and other departments with moving and delivering supplies.

Ensure all items are handled carefully and delivered to the correct location.

Report guest requests, complaints, damages, or unusual situations to the appropriate supervisor.

Follow hotel safety, hygiene, and service standards at all times.

Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or hotel management.

Requirements: Minimum of an SSCE equivalent qualification. Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, hospitality, or customer service environment is an advantage. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods Excellent customer service and a polite, professional attitude. Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy environment. Strong teamwork and reliability. Good personal hygiene and professional appearance. Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Honesty, punctuality, and willingness to learn.
