Japanese-speaking Regional Client Relations Executive

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Japanese management at existing clients across Malaysia, Vietnam, and Indonesia.
• Identify and understand customers' challenges and unmet needs, and uncover new business opportunities through close engagement.
• Work with internal sales and technical teams to develop and propose solutions that address customers' needs and create added value.
• Engage with clients through appropriate relationship-building activities, including business meetings, meals, and golf when appropriate.
• Share customer insights and potential business opportunities with relevant internal teams to support business development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Economics, or a related field.
• Proficient in Japanese, with the ability to navigate Japanese business culture, including communication norms, relationship management practices, and decision-making processes, to effectively engage Japanese-speaking clients and deliver a high standard of client service
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a client or customer-facing role.
• Warm and personable, with the ability to naturally build rapport and earn trust and goodwill from clients
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with clients
• Ability to identify customer challenges and needs and translate them into potential business opportunities
• Willing and able to travel overseas frequently for business purposes
• Comfortable participating in relationship-building activities, including business meals and golf when required
