JobResponsibilities
- Prepare M&E cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and tender submissions.
- Review M&E drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify scope of works and cost implications.
- Prepare bills of quantities (BQ), cost breakdowns, and pricing evaluations.
- Source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors and evaluate commercial proposals.
- Assist in tender evaluation, negotiation, and award recommendations.
- Manage and monitor M&E subcontractors’ progress claims and payment certifications.
- Evaluate variation orders, extension of time claims, and contractual claims related to M&E works.
- Track project costs and assist in cost reporting and budget control.
- Liaise with consultants, project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers on commercial matters.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for project costing and contractual submissions.
- Support project handover and final account settlement.
JobRequirements
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Services, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in M&E Quantity Surveying, preferably in building construction projects.
- Candidates with experience in Singapore construction projects will be an advantage.
- Candidates from Malaysia are welcome to apply.Good knowledge of M&E systems, including ACMV, electrical, plumbing & sanitary, fire protection, and ELV systems.
- Able to read and interpret M&E drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Familiar with measurement, costing, tender preparation, and contract administration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and quantity surveying software.
- Good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
