MECHANIC

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles including sedans, trucks, vans, motorcycle and specialized equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle in the fleet. Monitor vehicle usage, mileage, and service intervals to schedule timely maintenance. Coordinate with vendors for outsourced repairs or parts procurement. Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and regulatory standards. Assist in fleet inventory management and vehicle assignment tracking. Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide roadside assistance when necessary. Recommend improvements to fleet maintenance procedures and schedules. Support fleet acquisition and disposal processes.

Qualifications/Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in automotive repair preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet or motor pool maintenance "Strong knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components. Familiarity with fleet management software and maintenance tracking systems. Valid driver’s license; CDL may be required depending on fleet type. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. With Driver's License (1,2)
