Senior Cloud Engineer (Short Term Contract)
Accountabilities: Act as a senior technical contributor supporting cloud migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives across client environments
Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions using modern practices such as infrastructure as code and automation
Support application modernization efforts, including containerization, serverless architectures, and CI/CD pipeline development
Work across networking, security, and system architecture topics to ensure scalable and reliable cloud deployments
Collaborate with client teams to evaluate technical requirements and recommend optimal cloud-native solutions
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and migration issues across hybrid and legacy environments
Contribute to technical documentation, best practices, and knowledge sharing within project teams
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with a major public cloud platform, with strong preference for experience in Google Cloud
Strong hands-on experience with DevOps tools, automation practices, and CI/CD pipelines
Solid expertise in at least one core area: Linux system administration, networking, or database administration (e.g., MySQL or similar systems)
Experience working with traditional on-premise or data center environments (VMware, physical servers, storage, networking, firewalls)
Proven exposure to cloud migration projects from on-premise to public cloud environments
Ability to write scripts and automation in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar)
Familiarity with tools such as Kubernetes and the HashiCorp ecosystem is highly desirable
Strong communication skills, with comfort working on video in client-facing and internal meetings
Conversational proficiency in English with the ability to collaborate in distributed teams
