Senior AI/ML Engineer

Accountabilities: The Senior AI/ML Engineer will design, develop, and evolve advanced AI-powered conversational systems while driving technical innovation and delivering scalable solutions. This role requires strong ownership of AI initiatives, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate emerging technologies into reliable enterprise applications.

Design and execute proof-of-concepts that explore new capabilities in conversational AI, Generative AI, and intelligent virtual agents.

Develop, enhance, and maintain AI/ML systems focused on natural language understanding, generation, and agent-based experiences.

Contribute to the evolution of Agentic AI solutions by transforming research concepts into practical, scalable implementations.

Lead technical initiatives involving multiple teams, providing technical direction, code reviews, and engineering best practices.

Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, customers, and technical teams to translate business needs into innovative AI solutions.

Build robust software architectures capable of supporting AI applications at enterprise scale.

Research and apply emerging AI technologies to improve system capabilities and user experiences.

Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and develop creative solutions using strong engineering judgment.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced AI/ML engineer with a strong software engineering foundation and a passion for developing intelligent systems. You should have experience delivering production-grade AI solutions and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field preferred.

5+ years of software engineering experience with proven expertise in AI/ML systems development.

Strong knowledge of conversational AI, natural language processing (NLP), and dialogue systems with experience delivering production solutions.

Solid software engineering fundamentals, including system design, algorithms, data structures, and scalable architecture.

Experience managing complex technical projects and delivering high-quality engineering outcomes.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative approaches to challenging AI problems.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, fine-tuning, or Generative AI applications is highly valued.

Familiarity with multi-agent systems, Agentic AI architectures, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and vector databases is a plus.

Experience deploying AI solutions using MLOps practices and cloud platforms such as AWS is beneficial.

Knowledge of responsible AI practices, enterprise AI governance, reinforcement learning, or multimodal AI technologies is advantageous.

Contributions to AI research, open-source projects, publications, or patents are considered a plus.
