Accountabilities: Serve as the SAP Pricing & Promotions SME and functional lead , providing hands-on expertise across S/4HANA Retail pricing and promotions, including Promotion Management for Retail (PMR), Omnichannel Promotion Pricing (OPP), and Condition Contract Pricing.

Translate client business requirements into detailed enterprise application designs aligned with business processes, industry standards, and SAP best practices.

Lead business-process design, blueprint, and Fit-to-Standard workshops, and develop clear business requirements and functional specifications.

Configure and customize pricing and promotions capabilities, including retail price calculation, margin logic, regular and promotional price planning, condition techniques, and POS outbound pricing through Cond_A.

Analyze solution alternatives and provide recommendations on appropriate pricing and promotions architecture, configuration, and delivery approaches.

Develop programming specifications, process diagrams, and coding or logic flowcharts for application modifications, enhancements, and new implementations.

Lead SIT and UAT activities, including test planning, defect management, issue resolution, and knowledge transfer.

Manage workstream budgeting, staffing, forecasting, resource allocation, and delivery planning.

Lead, mentor, and develop functional and technical consultants through coaching, performance feedback, training, and day-to-day guidance.

Act as a key client-facing contact, communicating project progress, risks, issues, recommendations, and delivery expectations to senior stakeholders.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with client teams while ensuring project outcomes, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations remain aligned.

Promote quality assurance, information security, compliance, and established delivery processes throughout engagements.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of delivery capabilities, team expertise, and sustainable consulting practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline , or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

8+ years of relevant SAP functional or technical consulting experience , including experience operating as a lead or senior subject matter expert.

Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Retail pricing and promotions .

Experience with PMR, OPP, and/or Condition Contract Pricing is highly preferred.

Demonstrated expertise in retail price calculation and margin logic, regular and promotional price planning, and SAP condition techniques.

Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into enterprise application designs, functional specifications, process diagrams, and implementation logic.

Experience leading business-process design, blueprint, and Fit-to-Standard workshops.

Experience supporting SIT and UAT cycles, including test planning, defect triage, and resolution.

Experience with budgeting, staffing, forecasting, resource planning, and workstream management.

Previous experience leading, mentoring, and training functional and technical consulting teams.

Strong client-facing communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and leadership skills.

Ability to manage competing priorities, solve complex problems, and deliver effectively in high-pressure consulting environments.

Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required .

SAP certification in Retail, Pricing/Promotions, or S/4HANA is a plus.

Additional experience with SAP CAR modules such as OAA or POS DM/TDM is desirable.

Familiarity with SAP CRM Trade Promotion Management, SAP BRIM, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, or integrations with SD, MM, or Retail Merchandising is advantageous.

Experience with SAP Activate, Agile, or hybrid delivery methodologies, as well as PMP or comparable certification, is a plus.

Prior government contracting or public-sector consulting experience is desirable.
