Accountabilities: The Partnerships Growth Lead will be responsible for building a scalable growth engine focused on government partnerships, managing complex sales cycles, and creating the processes needed to support future expansion. The role requires a combination of strategic partnership development, commercial execution, and cross-functional collaboration.

Own enterprise sales cycles from qualification and pipeline development through proposals, procurement navigation, negotiation, and closing.

Build and manage a structured sales pipeline with disciplined forecasting across long government sales cycles.

Develop procurement strategies, including responses to RFPs and RFIs, competitive positioning, and approaches for navigating government purchasing processes.

Design pricing, packaging, and partnership structures that align with customer needs, procurement requirements, and organizational goals.

Establish repeatable sales processes, playbooks, and operating systems that enable future team growth.

Partner with internal teams to translate market opportunities into effective partnership strategies and customer solutions.

Build trusted relationships with government leaders, procurement stakeholders, and key decision-makers.

Represent the organization at state capitals, industry events, and relevant convenings to strengthen market presence.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced enterprise sales and partnerships professional with a strong understanding of government procurement, complex stakeholder environments, and mission-driven growth. You should be comfortable owning outcomes independently while building scalable systems for future success.

8+ years of experience in public sector sales, enterprise partnerships, business development, capture management, government affairs, or related roles.

Significant experience selling to state and local government organizations, ideally involving complex programs or public services.

Proven ability to manage long sales cycles, including multi-year agreements and high-value enterprise deals.

Experience building or improving sales motions, playbooks, and operational processes from the ground up.

Strong understanding of government procurement processes, RFP/RFI responses, and stakeholder engagement strategies.

Ability to balance strategic relationship-building with hands-on execution and deal ownership.

Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior government stakeholders.

Comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment with a high level of ownership.

Mission-oriented mindset and genuine interest in creating positive outcomes for underserved communities.

Experience in gov-tech, public-sector technology, or organizations serving complex government systems is preferred.

Existing relationships with government stakeholders, procurement teams, or relevant public-sector networks are a plus.
