Freelance Brand Designer

Accountabilities: The Brand Designer will be responsible for developing complete visual identities, establishing design systems, and ensuring consistent brand execution across multiple channels. This role requires a strong understanding of branding principles, independent creative thinking, and the ability to deliver polished assets that support long-term brand growth.

Develop foundational brand assets, including logos, visual identities, typography systems, and comprehensive color palettes.

Create, organize, and deliver multiple variations of core brand elements for different use cases and formats.

Establish and maintain brand consistency across internal and external materials, including presentations, social media assets, and marketing collateral.

Build scalable and structured visual systems aligned with modern design standards and brand objectives.

Create clear brand guidelines, style documentation, and asset libraries to support consistent usage across teams.

Validate designs across digital and print environments, ensuring visual quality and consistency across all platforms.

Apply strategic design thinking to strengthen brand recognition and long-term visual identity.

Independently manage design tasks, solve creative challenges, and deliver high-quality assets within project requirements.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate has strong experience in brand identity creation, visual design, and building structured design systems. A strategic mindset, strong portfolio, and ability to work independently are essential for success in this freelance role.

2+ years of relevant experience in brand design, graphic design, art direction, visual communications, or related creative fields.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communication Design, or a related discipline is preferred.

Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in brand identity creation, logo design, visual systems, and brand guidelines.

Proven ability to create complete branding solutions from concept development through final execution.

Deep proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite tools, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

Strong experience using Figma for creating and managing digital design assets.

Ability to translate brand identity effectively across digital platforms, social media assets, presentations, and print materials.

Strong understanding of brand system architecture, design organization, and scalable asset management.

Excellent attention to detail with a focus on maintaining visual consistency and quality.

Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results in a remote freelance environment.

English proficiency at an upper-intermediate level (B2) or above.

Portfolio showcasing branding projects must be included with the application.
