EDI Techno Functional Consultant

Accountabilities: Design, map, develop, and maintain EDI integrations involving formats such as EDIFACT, XML, and flat files.

Develop and configure business processes using B2Bi Business Process Modeler and B2Bi Mapper.

Support the integration of business processes and ensure reliable data exchange between systems.

Work with integration architecture teams to improve processes, integration methods, and overall solution quality.

Provide technical support, troubleshooting, maintenance, enhancements, and modifications for existing B2Bi applications, scripts, tools, and web services.

Perform development tasks using technologies such as SQL, XPath, XSLT, and Unix Shell scripting.

Configure and manage trading partner relationships, including envelopes, business processes, Sterling Integrator, and ANSI X12 transactions.

Analyze technical issues and implement effective solutions to maintain system performance and reliability.

Create, update, and maintain technical documentation to support integration processes and knowledge sharing.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on building efficient and scalable integration solutions.

Requirements:

Strong experience as an EDI Techno Functional Consultant or in a similar integration-focused role.

Proven expertise with EDI standards and technologies, including EDIFACT, B2Bi, and iDOC.

Hands-on experience with EDI mapping, XML, and flat file transformations.

Experience developing solutions using B2Bi Business Process Modeler and B2Bi Mapper.

Knowledge of business process integration and enterprise integration workflows.

Familiarity with programming and scripting languages such as SQL, XPath, XSLT, and Unix Shell scripting.

Experience supporting, troubleshooting, and enhancing integration applications, tools, and web services.

Understanding of trading partner configurations, envelopes, business processes, Sterling Integrator, and ANSI X12.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, architects, and business stakeholders.
