Accountabilities: The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving customer acquisition and revenue growth by developing meaningful relationships with prospects and guiding them through a consultative sales process. The role requires strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to consistently deliver against performance goals.

Build and nurture relationships with business owners, dealers, and service providers across North America.

Conduct discovery conversations to understand prospect needs, business challenges, objectives, and growth opportunities.

Act as a trusted advisor by recommending solutions aligned with customer goals and business requirements.

Lead consultative sales discussions and convert qualified prospects into long-term customers.

Manage the sales cycle from initial outreach through onboarding and partnership development.

Consistently achieve or exceed KPIs, activity targets, sales objectives, and revenue quotas.

Collaborate with sales teammates to improve messaging, processes, and business development strategies.

Share market insights and customer feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain a high level of professionalism, responsiveness, and customer focus throughout all interactions.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a motivated and competitive sales professional who enjoys building relationships, learning about customer businesses, and driving measurable results. They should demonstrate resilience, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Proven experience in business development, sales, account management, or a related customer-facing role.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and establish relationships quickly.

Consultative selling approach with the ability to ask insightful questions and understand customer needs.

Competitive mindset with a strong desire to achieve and exceed goals.

Resilience and persistence when facing challenges or rejection.

Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team.

Coachable attitude with a willingness to receive feedback and continuously improve.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities.

Experience in technology, SaaS, marketplaces, or a similar fast-growing industry is an asset.
