Project Engineer (Civil)

Support the planning and day-to-day execution of construction projects, ensuring work progresses in line with programme, manpower, quality and statutory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Project Manager in project planning and execution, and monitor works against the master programme.
• Coordinate daily activities involving subcontractors, supervisors and site workers to support smooth project progress.
• Plan manpower deployment in accordance with the budgeted man-hours provided for the project.
• Track daily site progress and provide timely progress updates to the Project Manager.
• Ensure project activities comply with applicable Singapore legal and regulatory requirements.
• Follow established procedures and ensure work is carried out in accordance with specifications, quality standards and statutory requirements.
• Carryout other project-related duties assigned from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’sDegree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; relevant construction experience will be an advantage.
• The final appointment and seniority level will be commensurate with the candidate’s relevant experience and overall suitability.
• Proactive and resourceful, with good communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Good analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across different levels.

Effective planning, coordination and control of project activities from commencement through completion.
